What To Expect

Personalised Attention: The counsellor provides personalised attention, focusing solely on the individual's needs, concerns, and goals. This tailored approach ensures that the individual receives support that is relevant to their unique situation.

Building Trust and Rapport: The counsellor establishes a trusting and supportive relationship with the individual, creating a safe space for them to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.

Assessment and Goal Setting: At the beginning of the session or during the initial sessions, the counsellor conducts an assessment to understand the individual's background, challenges, strengths, and goals. Together, they collaboratively set achievable goals for therapy.

Exploration and Insight: Through open dialogue and exploration, the counsellor helps the individual gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This process often involves identifying patterns, exploring underlying emotions, and examining past experiences that may be contributing to current difficulties.

Skill Building and Coping Strategies: The counsellor teaches practical coping strategies, relaxation techniques, and problem-solving skills to help the individual manage their symptoms and navigate life's challenges more effectively. This may include mindfulness exercises, cognitive-behavioural techniques, assertiveness training, or communication skills development.

Processing Emotions and Trauma: For individuals dealing with trauma or intense emotions, the counsellor provides a supportive space to process and integrate these experiences.

Reflection and Homework Assignments: Towards the end of the session, the counsellor and individual reflect on the insights gained and discuss any homework assignments or action steps to work on between sessions. This helps reinforce learning and encourages continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Closure and Recap: The session concludes with a recap of key insights and action points discussed. Providing closure helps the individual transition out of the therapeutic space and prepares them for their next steps in the therapeutic journey.

By purchasing the Therapy Session/s or Packages, Group in-person | Virtual, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. The fees are non-refundable once payment is made, and any cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least 2 days prior to the scheduled service date. Participants are responsible for ensuring their attendance at scheduled sessions, and any missed sessions will not be eligible for rescheduling or refunds. Health Group123 reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, format, or content as deemed necessary for the optimal delivery of the session, with notification provided to participants in advance.
